A.R.T. has developed nothing less than the most comprehensive range of ultimate tuning options for the MB Roadster SLK R171. The SLK summer season can’t get much better than that.

True to A.R.T. style, the sporting elegance of the aerodynamics components makes for a more impressive appearance of this roadster. Next to the front spoiler, side skirts, and rear skirt, an additional spoiler on the rear hood enhances the overall appearance of this vehicle. The four are harmoniously combined for refinement.

The short, SL-design antenna color-matched with the vehicle sets itself apart from the crowd.

Justifiably, the high-quality polished chrome safety roll bar with A.R.T. logo conveys a sense of safety.

A fresh look for the cabin: Lemon yellow is the color of the leather chosen to cover the inside door panels and seats. Carbon applications for the instrument panel underscore the technical characteristics of the cockpit. The multifunctional sports steering wheel is covered in Alcantara and leather, as is the gear lever surround. Fine velour carpets and light-blue illuminated entry ledges even turn entry into the vehicle a perfect pleasure.

A quick word about the engine: The performance of the SLK200 compressor is electronically modified by A.R.T. by means of the AS20K performance kit and modifying the compressor transmission ratio to get a hearty 195 PS out of the engine. The AK55 supercharger kit is the perfect accompaniment for the SLK55. Pure performance: 453 PS. Last but not least, the formidable sports rear muffler exhaust system with four hard-chrome-plated 80mm tailpipes.

To keep the vehicle firmly on the ground despite its high-speed performance, A.R.T. monoART1 light–alloy rims are available in size 18” or 19”. A sports suspension with special A.R.T. sports springs and comfortably set sports gas-pressure shock absorbers allow the vehicle to be lowered by 30mm.

An aerodynamics set for the front, sides, rear and the trunklid optimizes and individualizes the contours of the vehicle, in perfect symbiosis with the series design. For the front spoilers, there are two design lines to choose from. The AVANTGARDE version is in the classic, elegant A.R.T. style. The SPORTLINE version meets the demands for a sporty appearance and dynamics that any S-Class owner with an interest in sport cars has.

A.R.T. modified Headlamp system in NERO Design: The black background of the headlamp housing will transform your car into a sporting giant, whether the color of your vehicle is light or dark: an attractive change of mood for the front of your vehicle.

And under the hood: motor performance from A.R.T. Performance kits are offered for all S-Class gasoline and diesel engines. Diesel units are boosted by 20% on average with A.R.T. DIESEL POWER direct programing. Gasoline engines invigorated with 60 to 130 HP more power, depending on the original motor and optimization concept.Four shiny chrome-plated 80mm tailpipes of the sport exhaust system with the ART logo draw attention to the attractive rear skirting solution. One right and one left muffler ensure the sound is right.

The electronic suspension system from A.R.T. for Airmatic and ABC chassis lowers the ride height by 35mm. All other built-in chassis control functions remain unchanged. Only the speed-dependent ride-height control is suppressed.For the wheel concept A.R.T. proposes the monoART1 light-alloy metal rims in dimensions 18, 19, or 20 inches for the S-Class. This individual choice of rims is multiplied by the range of three different surfaces: TITANIUM POLISHED special coating with highly polished spoke backs TITANIUM special coating with allover silky-matt surface, Black special coating in nano-technology or CUSTOMIZED Design with special painting in the colour of demand with or without contrast ring.

The A.R.T. STEPLIGHTS ensures lighted horizontal edging for the upper side sill lines in the interior of the vehicle when the doors are open. Electroluminescent light strips supported in highly polished stainless steel with finely broken lines emit a fresh yellow light pattern and are a perfect complement to the series-produced yellow ambience lighting. Perfect boarding conditions in any lighting.

Inside, lighted entrance strips with the A.R.T. Logo provide a wonderful and elegant impression of a sumptuous vehicle interior. This is also the case of the numerous highlights for upgrading the interior with exotic wood, Alcantara, leather, textile, and velvet carpets.

An ergonomically shaped multifunctional sports steering wheel with a perforated grip area in a leather color and wood of your choice puts the final finish on any interior upgrade.
